Kilkenny Charolais dates back to 1970, initially operated by the late Tom Hunter of Evora, Blackall. Kilkenny Charolais is focused on producing high-quality commercial bulls that survive and deliver results.

We believe in breeding cattle with a purpose, which is why we have worked tirelessly to create a herd that is unmatched in terms of constitution and strength. Our cows are raised in the ticks on coastal, mountainous, forest country just west of Eidsvold QLD, ensuring that they develop the natural strength and resilience that is so essential in this industry. We also give our cows a dry loose lick when necessary, to ensure that they are always in the best possible health. Our commitment to raising our cattle this way means that our breeding program is as formidable as they come - in the world of stud Charolais.
